Folks are starting to accept that wireless networking is the technology of tomorrow. The communications networks of today allow most people access to news and information ‘as it happens’. Wireless networking has made offices safer and more efficient. Computers no longer have to be connected to peripherals by cables. Employees can now work yards apart from each other and still share the information they need - no wires needed.

It is great in the home too as it is more convenient to be able to access the Internet from any room you choose. You just need a wireless network and you may have access to the other machines that you need without having to be connected anywhere.

Some people dwell on the negatives and site electromagnetic radiation as a cause for concern, irrespective of the remarkable benefits that wireless networks bring. Corporations are ever mindful of their legal obligations to employees and therefore I doubt if they would open themselves up to a lawsuit if there was any known danger in using wireless networks.
