My whole life, my grandparents have had a tiny little black and white television that receives only three channels. I always dreaded going there because I would get so bored listening to the adults converse! I desperately wanted something to do, but the three channels that did come in were fuzzy and full of static at best. Imagine my surprise when we walked into the house one Saturday afternoon to find Grandpa installing a forty-two inch plasma screen television. When I told him that I did not think that the two of them watched that much television, he said he decided that they would start, especially when they had all sorts of new interesting channels. He was also comparing prices for Dish Network vs Direct TV, trying to decide which one he wanted. Needless to say, I am no longer bored when I visit my grandparents’ house.
