If someone has sent you a friend request, when you login to MySpace, you will receive notification. 

Once you click on the link, you will be able to see who it was, and approve or deny the request.  Look at the profile before you approve it, and unless you are a business, artist, filmmaker, or comedian trying to earn friends, make sure you know the person before you add them. 

If you notice that the profile seems to be fake looking, or advertising something sexual, report it as spam, deny it and move on. 

You may also receive notification via email each time you receive a friend request, depending on how you set up your account options.
