An old friend of mine is a Native American and I have learned a lot about respecting the earth from her.

For generations her people have understood that the earth’s resources are a great gift to humans and can be used to make our lives better. Her people have respectfully fished the oceans, hunted, grown food, and found natural ways to create power.
