Has anyone else heard of these Wish Lanterns? I saw them at Guy Fawkes Night in London last year and they were absolutely amazing. There were some people there selling them in Clapham Common before the fireworks display but by the time I got there they had already left for the night. I saw some go up into the sky after the fireworks display and was absolutely amazed at how these flying lanterns so to speak, rose so high up and burned for so long. I think some people call them Thai Lanterns but when I went up to the guy who had let it off to try and find out where he got it from, he said he had bought it from a company called Wish Lantern. I’m thinking of getting some for my brother’s engagement party later in the year, since he has a large garden I think they will be quite a nice addition to the party! I’ll keep you all posted on how they go, might even post some photos if I can get some good ones!
