My husband and I recently bid on an older foreclosed home. The house was in pretty decent shape. Unfortunately while we were waiting for the sale to close, someone broke in and stole several of the kitchen cabinets. We ended up having to get an estimate for a new kitchen. We turned that into the bank, and they approved a reduction in the price of the house.  Since my husband is a carpenter, we will be replacing the cabinets ourselves to save money. I am looking for some very cheap oak or pine cabinets, because we are short on cash right now.
