I have a good friend who spent a lot of time in Japan while he was in the military.

In fact, he married a Japanese girl and had a couple of children before being transferred back to the States.

His wife and children were sad to leave. So when they bought their new home, my friend promised to bring a lot of their furnishings back with them including their small Japanese soaking tub.

I must admit I was a bit taken when he told me they were bringing their bathtub with them. That was until I had the opportunity to take a long soak in it after helping them move in.
