I wanted to draw your attention to the concept of mobile log cabins. They are warm, and attractive and inexpensive, and look classy. Because they are mobile, they arrive in two halves on the back of a truck, and are then assembled on site. This means that there is no VAT to pay, and a lot less hassle with planning permission (you may not even need it!).

So if you need extra space, why not consider a log cabin!
