Watch Out for Fitness Scammers
You have to be careful where you get your fitness information these days. With the anonymity of the Internet, any slick marketer with absolutely no fitness experience or knowledge can call themselves an expert. Unfortunately, many of these marketers are a lot better at selling a fitness instruction solution than designing one that actually works.
Now, I’m not about to tell you that it’s necessary for an online fitness trainer to have a lot of letters after their name in order to have useful knowledge. Some of the very best and most knowledgeable instructors learned everything they know in the gym. But you do need to do some research before buying a product. Google the trainer’s name and see if anybody’s calling hima scammer. Now, be aware that just about anybody who’s been in business for a while will have some unhappy customers. Some people just can’t be satisfied. So finding one or two dissatisfied people is not an automatic red flag. But if there is a large number of people calling the fitness guru a ripoff artist then your scam antennae should go up.
