We’ve all heard that if you really, really want to keep any weight you lose off forever, that the best way is to do it slowly and steadily.  But why don’t the pounds stay off if you lose weight fast?  Depending upon the amount of weight that you lost, some portion of it is simply water weight. And that can easily return when you go back to regular eating habits.  Another reason for the weight returning is that you haven’t really learned to eat any differently than before.  So that means, the eating habits of old that put the weight on in the first place are still there!
