Banjo was a good game created by Rare for the N64.  They are coming out with a new one for the 360 that feels like it has been in the making for years and years.  I wonder if the game is going to be as good as on the on the N64.  If you have not had the chance to play that game, you should go ahead and download Banjo and try it out and see why so many people liked the game as soon as it came out.  Very hard to find any decent platforming games out there these days so sometimes you got to go back to find a good one.

I really want to find that Legend of Zelda cartoon I used to watch on TV.  Now the cartoon I think only came on sometimes and it was shown occasionally on the Super Mario Bros. cartoon.  Now these are both Nintendo staples, and I am an avid fan of Sony and in particular the stupendous PS2, but I do like the big N a lot as well.  Now this cartoon I always found great because lets face it, Link is one of the most iconic video game characters outside of the red chubby italian known as mario.  This cartoon was pure gold and I hope to find some episodes online.

The Satellite TV provider DISH Network became the first TV broadcaster to broadcast full 1080p video resolution. HD news says their first offering was the movie I Am Legend in their Video On Demand service, more titles are to be offered when available according to DISH. They claim their broadcasts is the same as quality as Blu-ray but at a much cheaper price. Only customers that own HD DVR devices will be available to take advantage of this service however. A software upgrade will also be available to subscribers. With DISH being the first, I wonder who will follow suit to offer affordable 1080p broadcasts.

Looks like we may see a new iPod Touch coming out this fall!

Curious iPod Touch users have begun to dig through the beta seed of the Touch’s upcoming firmware release (2.1) in hopes of finding a tidbit of interesting iPod Touch News. Alas, they have!

During their review of these files, inquisitive iPod Touch users stumbled upon a file structure named “iPod2,1,” the current iPod Touch is dubbed “iPod1,1.”

“iPod1,1″ is a generic term for the current generation of iPod Touch’s, regardless of their storage capacity (8GB, 16GB and 32GB.) 

From this we can draw the conclusion that the “iPod2,1,” text refers to a completely new iPod Touch, not just a new storage size. The fact that the beta of the 2.1 firmware contains this information leads me to believe that it could be compatible with a new iPod Touch (if there is such a thing;) meaning that there is a chance it will be announced within the lifespan of the 2.1 firmware. We’ll see!

I Just hope they up the iPhone to 32GB as well.
