I know how to get better gas milage - don’t run the car! Seriously though, you can get better gas mileage if you just do a few sensible things that make sense. Do you love accelerating your car away from the lights? Or just when you take off, even if the engine is cold? Yes, it might be fun, and it might make you feel powerful and really cool, but it eats gas. So what if it takes you an extra second or so to reach the end of the road. You could have saved money doing so by getting better gas mileage.
