Aptera 2e and 2h
There has been a bit of confusion of the two different makes of the new Aptera vehicle that will both hit the market the latest next year. Here is a brief explanation of each vehicle:
Aptera 2e – This is the all electric Aptera. It will get 100 miles per charge with 2 225 pound adults and luggage in the cargo area. It will charge in 8 hours with a 110 volt cord. Goes on Sale in December 2009.
Aptera 2h – This is the hybrid version. It will get 300 miles per gallon, and probably have an 8 gallon tank. Yes that means you can pretty much drive across the country on a small tank of gas.
