High Function Essential For Busy Nurse
I have been a nurse for almost fifteen years, and about five years ago I noticed that my fingers were getting numb when I would check patients blood pressure or start an IV. I had a fairly good idea of what it was that was causing these symptoms, so I made an appointment to see a carpal tunnel specialist. After a review of symptoms and some diagnostic testing, he confirmed the diagnosis and I had minimally invasive surgery to correct it. My recovery was quicker than what I expected, and it was wonderful to be able to perform my work duties again at full capacity.
